netop „Simple check“ does not work

How can I check that a netop service is running at port 5010 on a windows system?

I have tried a "Simple check" with tcp,5010.
This check does not recognize that the service runs.
The check always returns back "0".

Hello Forum, are there no ideas about this problem?

Do you use 2.0/1.9.x? Check if you have set the IP/DNS in the "Agent Interfaces" of the Host.

        netop udp protocoll „Simple check“

The problem is that the netop communication uses the udp protokoll.

How can zabbix a "Simple check" monitor udp connections.

          I don't think you can.

But, you could try 'External Checks'
          http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/1.8/manual/config/items#external_checks

This link might be useful too:
You can monitor Radius (and other services too, such as DNS and other) with Zabbix external check feature and netcat (nc). How do external check items work? “External check” items are m…
